Chrome rocker panel trim

Just curious....My 1st Camaro was a 68 SS/RS that I had when I was in high school back in 1979. Even though it was only 10 years old at the time, it had already rotted out, terrible Bondo work, then repainted.

I tried my first attempt at body work and repainted it '74 Corvette dark brown with a couple white racing stripes. (and made a front spoiler out of conduit, old t-shirts and some bondo)

When doing the body work and repainting, I had to remove and replace the chrome trim on the rocker panel below the door, behind the front wheel well, and in front of the rear. It was 3 separate pieces on each side.

Every other Gen1 that I've seen has a 1 piece chrome trim piece, not 3.
Was the 3 separate pieces part of the SS or RS package?????

The car is long gone.

Thanks,

Carl

****EDIT***

I found my answer. The lower door/rocker panel 3 piece trim was part of the RS package.
