It never fails no matter how far I park away from the store entrance , some idiot pulls up right beside my camaro so that I can barely open my door . And 9 times out of 10 it's some piece of crap car that is already covered in dings dents and multi colored panels

Hard to tell with the glare, but is that through to the primer? Looks like it could be easily fixed.

Sorry for the bad luck. My car is allergic to door-dings big time.
It fears them.
Once every few weeks a car parks next to mine at the work parking garage.
Made the following Door Ding Protectors out of leftover spare parts from a home hot water heater install project:

Hangs on mirror and door handle, very light. They slide apart in to two sections and fit in the trunk.
Added plus is it hides the Camaro word on the fender - the crooks look for Camaro as priority, go incognito - joking.
Between protectors V1 and V2 it has been 3 years and ... I better not say it, that will jinx.

Are you serious?
Its an automobile.....if you drive it, shit is gonna happen. I have nicks in the paint, chips in the windshield etc......its inevitable.

If I had to park in tight spaces like in a parking garage I'd make one of those ding guards too.

It's hard to tell from the pic how deep it is. If you live near Shelby, NC, I could polish out what can be polished out, and use light wet sanding if needed, if any areas are too deep, I have Dr. Colorchip in Victory Red that I could fill whatever can't be removed.

Is there an actual dent? If so you'll need to take it to a Paintless Dent Repair specialist first to remove the dent.

I've seen those foam protectors multiple times now... I still like them. Sure, a car gets wear and tear, but if you can prevent it, why not? Especially when its from something thats not even your fault. So frustrating.
