Hey Jarhead! Why do you need to run the UD pulley? Just asking because if you're not going beyond bolt on's, is there really a need? Less coolant circulation, less alternator charging, etc.. If you need on, have you thought about what % underdriven your looking at. I've run up to about 20%-22% on the street with few issues, but really never found it worth the $$ for my applications. Not trying to rain on the thread, just curious as to why you want to run one.

Why would I stop at bolt-ons? And the pct is the biggest thing that I'm wondering what people have had experience with. And what works best for each application.

unless your cammed and running 800+ RPM idle you dont need one. Fluidamper or ATI with a stock size pully if wanting a better balancer.

Yup what J said I run the Fluidampr to counter harmful vibrations the 25% underdrive to the power only is OK because my idle is 950 cammed.... the A/C no under drive I like being cold in the heat, and the effects of Underdrive pulleys greatly exaggerated on a N/A car ....now if it was a pulley change on a supercharged bumping up boost......

Stock we have what is inadequate to even be called a harmonic balancer as the engines internally balanced fair...... and its not meant to deal with the wide vibrations of a cammed engine and have seen them and even a cheaper SLP ones fail over the years in postings. Its just a weighted pulley stock basically. A good Harmonic balancer saves lots of stress to the timing chain, cam bearings, even the main bearings. When I sit at a idle my car rocks..... J's car rocks too...... People know your not stock if they are smart and Love it...Give thumbs up from people, also idiots who need a door adjustment...LOL

I'm running a powerbond 25% without issue. Ran it for 6 months on bolt ons no problem. Now, cammed, still no issue.
