Intro and a question

Call me REBEL I’m from southern Canada.
Ruthven Ontario on the north shore of lake Erie south of Detroit.
Millwright by trade airbrush custom paint by night.
I’m a “REBEL with a cause, and a loaded airbrush”

All Chevy man … 57 Bel-Air gasser, 67 Malibu convertible, 03 SSR on hand
Had 68 Camaro convert, 88 sportside Silverado, 66 Malibu convertible.

I swore I would never buy first year anything after paying big bucks for the SSR and watch each year get cheaper while the truck was improved, …but here I am.

The question … what is the roof ditch rail? color matched? Help anyone.

PS. I’m also REBEL over on SSRFANATIC.COM site.

It's the molding on both the driver's side and passenger sides of the roof I believe it covers the joint/drip rail where the arc of steel (A & C pillar) meet the roof panel. It is black strip on non RS cars. Painted to match on RS cars

Rebel,
I think the black roof mouldings looks pretty bad on most colors of Camaros. One dealer advised me that several customers were dissapointed when their non-RS cars came in (especially in Yellow). If you order Imperial Blue Metallic or Black it becomes a non-issue. Also, since you do painting, it will proably be a non-issue for you.

Well thanks for your reply’s guys.

Today Nov.2nd I put $500 down and my order in.

For my wife a 1LT RS stick, aqua blue, silver rally stripe, gray cloth.

I asked about the VYV Hurst shifter, but salesman could not find it.
Is it only available with the SS or just in U.S. of A.?

The order did not get picked up by the nov.10th.cut off. (dealer said he had open allucation)

But know the dealer has found one made to my spec's on a lot in canada. They are 90% sure they can get it in a dealer swap. fingers crossed.
