SPARK PLUG WIRE TRIGGERED STABILITRAK

I dont know if anyone has had a stabilitrack problem but when I put my headers on I didnt have the the plugwire all the way down on one cylinder. It was running rough I just thought it was the computer trying to adjust to new fuel table. But after found that out she runs like champ. So if you get a stabilitrak proble with the code misfire detected check your plug wires. I just thought it was interesting that a plug wire would trigger the traction control.

How was the header install? I assume you did it yourself. Did you pull both through the bottom?

thanks,
Michael J.

Part of traction control is the engine will reduce power to help stop the wheel spin. If the engine is detecting a problem then it will usually go to some type of derate operation. With the engine not operating normally the system will disable the traction control.
