Question GM Over-The-Air Software Updates

Does the Camaro support Over-The-Air software updates? I'm not referring to MyLink.

https://my.gmc.com/learnAbout/over-air-software-updates

If so, how are they done? I'm not sure of the process.

Yes, I read it but I'm still uncertain.
It states, "Downloading and installing vehicle software updates requires Internet connectivity, which can be accessed through the vehicle’s built-in 4G LTE connection, if equipped. Alternatively, a secure Wi-Fi® hotspot (such as a mobile device hotspot, home network or public network) can be used."

How does the vehicle connect to a hotspot?

It also states, "To be eligible for over-the-air vehicle software updates for your vehicle, you must have accepted the connected vehicle user Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement for that vehicle."

Where was I supposed to have accepted the connected vehicle user Terms and Conditions & Privacy Statement for my vehicle?

It is part of the OnStar data package. If you purchase an OnStar data package, you've accepted the terms and conditions. Does your Camaro have wifi?

Not all Camaro has Wifi... Especially anythinhg pre 2016. However, you can ask your dealership to install the onstar system that has support for 4G LTE and wifi hot spot.

The best way to find out what will work with your system is to get in the car and press the OnStar button. They will answer your questions.

I'm certain mine doesn't have WiFi.

I thought only GM's Bolt EV supports over-the-air software update.

I stumbled onto the GM site & I'm wondering about it.

EDIT: I checked this morning (7/19) & the Settings section doesn't seem to have the option.
