Finally got to a Dyno

I had the opportunity to Dyno my camaro over the weekend at Unlimited performance here in Corpus Christi. This was my baseline for my build while waiting for a couple $$ to come in. It out down 367whp and 350tq. I was hoping for a bit more but the owner said my car was about normal for the mods I have on that Dyno.

Torque should be higher than HP...at least that's how all the dyno sheets I've seen read.

I see you're from CC. You should come up to Vtown sometime.

Yea your hp is good but that torque seems low. Mine did 363 hp and 388 ft/lbs with a similar set up. Was it just a single pull?

I agree with others. When I had similar mods I made 365rwhp/390rwtq.

I've noticed a trend, that the L99 makes better torque than the LS3. My SS for example with Intake, secondary cat delete and MRT cat back and LMS tune made 390/395 through A6 trans.

I think the trend is more like the stock cam L99 tends to make same/more torque than hp, where-as the stock cam LS3 tends to make a little more hp than torque. And, given the subtle differences between the two, that makes sense, LS3 cars have more camshaft, a higher RPM range, and a power band that follows all of that.

I agree that the tq number looks pretty low for the original poster, especially in light of the hp. What type of dyno? How did the graph look? AFR recorded? Post it up!
