Anyone using a vortech?
I notice the vortech has the air intake in the front whereas procharger has it towards the rear of the engine compartment. Front seems better but I know procharger is highly reputable brand

Procharger tested it in front. Too much air blockage. I run the pro filter with 806 rwhp. On biggest pulley.

Cam 227/239-623-620@114 Mast medium bore heads, sw 1 7/8 headers, cat delete, x pipe, 3" dynomax true duals, fuel rails, fast 102 intake and NW 102 throttle body, catch can, rotofab cai, shifter, raptor custom shift light. Dss drive shaft, 3.91 gears. 492 rwhp

I ran my Paxton(same as Vortech) both ways. Rear is fine

Interesting. Looks good I just thought the back would be unnecessarily hot but seems not to be an issue

I have a V3 with the filter in the front. Would it be better to more it to the back or it the same either way?

I had a lb or so more boost taking the elbow off.
