Wiring headache
So I was tired of the rats nest of wires I have created in the trunk. I run the factory wires from the OEM head unit to a FIX 86 and then to a TWK 88. Then new wires to all speakers except 2 (I use the factory speaker wires for the tweeters).
The OEM harness running behind my sub has limited my options on where to put all the wires, hence the rats nest. So this weekend I separated the harness out. Pulled the tail light harness out and fastened it to run over the wheel well. Took the radio harness and laid it behind the rear seat. Looked much better. Hooked up the system, tuned it, sounded good. Hours later I went for a drive and there is issues. The FIX is telling me that one of the inputs is not giving a signal. So I wiggle wires, and then an alarm goes off. Never had that happen, not sure which of my units was making it. Now I have to isolate the wires and test for signals. Anyone on here with a similar setup, if you have had this issue and found it to be something else let me know.

For what it is worth. The signal from the head unit is very weak, .02 V to .03 V. I had to turn volume up to 20 to get the FIX to calibrate the signal. I successfully rerouted the radio/amplifier harness. The pic doesn’t really show much but trust me it is 100 times cleaner than it was.
