Personal best

With my tuner at the track managed an 11.4@ 119.5. He said it had more in it but we ran out of time.

Nice results! Any idea what the density altitude was, or what the race weight is? Those are two big considerations for any drag-strip result, and really help quantify the accomplishment.

Got plans to continue to work that ET down? Slip says to me that you've got more left to gain on the ET, even a full weight car can slip down into the 1.5x 60' range.

Love to see active posts in the drag-race section!

Draggy said 1500 da and race weight is 3650 without my 250lb ass in the seat I have a tuner now that data logs at the track. He has a 9 second z06 as a shop car. He noticed my current tune had some timing issues. He moved 2 degrees down to the bottom with less up top. He said there's more to go but we ran out of time at the track rental.

These are not the 11.4 runs. This was when we did a baseline. Went 11.5 @118 the 11.4 @119.5 the next 2 runs with some adjustments. Unfortunately nobody could record those runs because my buddies were also getting tuning done.

Very nice - that's a solid result with a full weight car. 119 in 1,500' suggests the power is there, now to get a little more from the 60' Keep after it, love it!

Thanks with the small changes my 60 went from 1.77 to 1.66. I'm battling my buddies in their 6 the gen Camaro running your intake....ss2 cam and your ported heads on both builds. Our tuner did the work on those cars and was helping them out as well. He said 11.0 is the goal for me@ maybe 123. He said he needs more time.Im not sure what to expect.

It seems like you should be close. If you can turn that 1.66 into a 1.50 you might see that 11.0xx time. I don't know what weight reduction you've done, some for sure, but if you can find another 50-100lbs that'll get it done as well. We have similar race weights, I can tell you that 119 is solid, my car would trap about that when it was right around 480-500whp, radials, and OEM rear end. It's got a 9" and slicks now, so it doesn't MPH super well even with a bunch more power, but it's harder to break!

I've been chasing 10.999 for a long time, and haven't quite made it yet. I'm of course doing it the foolish way, with three pedals and a very busted TCM between my ears. Stick shift can be summed up with three words, slow, inconsistent, and expensive. It's also a blast - I'm enjoying the journey!

Good air will be gone soon with summer, but keep working on your program, and be ready for some hero stuff when late fall comes around!

Ya not going back till the fall rental. I just have rear seat delete kit and I pull the front seat out to race. And the crap in the trunk. I have Viking rear coil overs that need adjusted but I didn't get to it on that day. My buddy in the 2021 lt1 10 speed put down 513 who and is shooting for 10s. But hot summer is for the boat..not sweating my ass off at the track lol
