SCT retune w/ HP tuners does car need tobe returned to stock first? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Car currently has a remote tune with SCT, the tuner I will be using for my LSA SC install I am going to request HP ( I believe he uses both ) Do I need to flash back to stock with SCT first? I know this would be a question for him but I don't want to bother him with a ton of questions ( Obviously when i set up appt I will go over all of this ) . I am just wondering and trying to learn.

If you dont flash the car back fo stock, the SCT will be locked and cannot be re-used unless unlocked by SCT themselves. Which is behind a paywall. So either revert back to stock or you'll have an SCT thats useless until you pay the unlock fee (think its like $150-$200). Ask me how I know lol

Thank you for reminding me of that, I knew it but it did slip my mind. I'll make sure to bring it with me when i go to get set up.
