Caliper bolts

Quick question, are brake caliper bolts on SS one time use only? Thanks

There are TTY (torque to yield) and they are considered one time bolts but, there are those who will reuse them.

As stated they are a TTY bolt. Theyre torqued to a value which and then plus a degree. I think its 30ft/lbs plus 90 degrees. The bolt stretches so its designed to be a one time use. Theres many many people who reuse them without any issues.

New bolts also have a dry locktite on them

After several uses, they get more difficult to remove and install. Screaming Chicken has non-TTY bolts if you are looking to replace them. I have done a lot of brake work and only recently replaced the factory bolts with Screaming Chicken units. The vert still has factory bolts.
