installed thorley's and vette fuel rail covers with pics
got finished installing some doug thorley shorties and vette ls3 c/f fuel rail covers today. nice headers, they fit excellent and look great. it took me 35 min to install the drivers side and it can be done from the top without dropping the cats. the pass side is a little worse, it requires dropping the cats, unplugging the o2 sesors, and feeding it up from the bottom, about 2 hrs (with some brew) the vette fuel covers are a real pain, they are not a bolt on, they require a new fuel line an evap line, a heater hose reroute
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...r+hose+reroute and some extensive trimming and fitting to make them clear the a/c lines and heater hoses. what a pain. but they look cool. i had my lettering redone in aqua blue to match the car and they turned out nice. bought the headers from a member in san antonio, for $450, got the coil covers at high country gm for $200 even, their parts guy is like the cheapest around, even for aftermarket. these are a gm part though, 2008 corvette accessory, the heater hoses were $26 a piece, the fitting for the fuel line were $11 a piece and the braided fuel was 3.50/ft, not bad but some scraped knuckles were well worth it to get rid of that s#!^&y looking LEGO engine cover

I know the brew always seems to add a few mins to my work also.
hahaha my wife says that my loss of work ethic/beer consumed ratio is sometimes expressed in powers
