Camaro5 member (ME!) to be in future OnStar Radio Ad!
Mod's I have no idea where to put this but I had to share. If it's in the wrong spot please fix it.
Back in January my wife and I were on our way home and witnessed a SUV flip onto it's roof and come to a rest against the gaurdrailing. I hit the little OnStar button to get help there quickly. I jumped out of the car to see what I could do. After I realized that there was a trapped baby and the driver was unconcious I returned to the car to make sure that medical services were aware that an infant was involved. Several other motorists stopped and we were able to get the baby and his mother out of the car preventing any further injuries. Some of those that stopped really should have kept going (seriously, who climbs onto the bottom of a SUV that is on its roof or tries to spin it while someone is trying to grab a baby!) but the end result was they were pulled from the wreckage. Now OnStar is going to use the call from my BEAUTIFUL IOM 2010 SS as a commercial. Attached is the letter we received today. I'm very flattered that we are getting to take part in something like this.

That's great... I've been debating on whether or not I should keep onstar once the year is up. I never us the nav, but I think I'll keep the emergency service.

That's a great story. I'll tell all my customers about it when it starts to air. You thought fast and pushed that emergency button. Great job. We need to remember how valuable Onstar can be.

very cool! congratz on the commercial and congratz for you to think of onstar at that moment because most people would just keep looking to see whats going on and forget that they can get help fast

Was this the accident is south OC where the family was heading to Legoland on the 5 and a few of them did not survive the crash?
