Unhappy Backup sensor paint chipping

I was claying my car today and as I got to the back and was making my way around the backup sensors, a piece of paint chipped off of the edge of the circle. :( When I looked at the others, they were ALL cracking and it looks like just a matter of time before the paint chips off of the other ones too. My Camaro is barely 4 months old, and I've only had it for a bit over 3 months. How is this happening already? Is this happening to anyone else?

Here's some pictures. Cell phone pictures, so ignore the quality, but what I'm talking about is clearly visible. The first picture is of the one that already chipped, and the second picture is of one of the other ones.

I really don't want to get my entire bumper repainted just for that. :( Is it possible to just get that part touched up?

Now I am really glad I got an early production Camaro without the backup sensors!

I didn't even mind the backup sensors before this. They are pretty helpful and I don't think they're an eyesore...or at least, they weren't. :\

So does anyone know if this can be fixed without painting the entire bumper?

easy fix. You dont have to have the whole thing painted. Dealer fixed this and didnt paint the entire bumper. Still lookes perfect 6000 miles later.

before:

after:

It sucks that they have some paint issues but it will get fixed perfectly.

I actually did claybar it. About 2 hours prior to that picture, it was claybared and waxed. ...then I took it for a joyride. The car is made for driving, after all.

That's really good news, I can't even tell from that picture that it was ever chipped! Thank you so much for giving me some hope!

You used an aftermarket clay bar so you've probably voided your warranty! Just kidding. That really sucks but they'll fix it one way or another. What a pain though!
