Thanks so much for this forum. I have 600 miles on my car and have already recieved 7 paint chips near the gills like everyone else. I am getting those repaired and the vinyl put on tommorow. I also saw in a post (can't find it again) that the polished aluminum rims chip very easily. Does anyone know of a good polish/wax that will help keep that from happening? I'd like to nip this in the bud.

if these chips are caused by rocks,waxing the wheels is not going to help.it is lust like the chips on your car.there are some threads on the forum addressing this.

The thread says that I don't have any pits in my rims yet and I am asking how to avoid them!
