Roto-fab plastic tube for Maggies!!!

We've had lots of questions about this, so here it is! This system has all of the great performance and appearance features of our standard Camaro CAI, along with a custom molded oversized tube for your S/C upgrade. Just because some intakes will "clamp up" to the Maggie system, that doesn't mean they meet the flow requirements to maximize the power gains of this modification. The Roto-fab CAI is the preferred system for many tuners because of superior performance and great tuning capabilities.
With this kit you receive our oversized plastic tube which is molded to step up and align properly to the new throttle body location. We also include a custom transition hump hose for coupling the larger air tube to the throttle body. A longer breather hose and fitting are supplied as well. Installation is simple with detailed instructions and absolutely no modifications to your car.This is the complete CAI intake system which includes everything necessary to replace your stock air intake system. If you already have the Roto-fab CAI system on your Camaro, you can simpy purchase our Magnuson upgrade kit. Note: while our dry filter performs great for N/A applications, we recommend our oil filter for use with your S/C.

Roto Fab I already have your CAI but will be getting a maggie in the future. Will you sell just the tube, extension, and hump coupler?

We do offer the "upgrade kit" as a product which can be purchased later should you decide to go with the super charger. The kit inlcludes:
Inlet elbow
4 1/4" x 4" transition hump hose
straight connector for PCV hose (threads in inlet elbow)
silicone PCV hose (longer for S/C applications)

The upgrade kit is available for $89.95.

I ordered the roto-fab CAI which is supose to be for Magna charger from engineeredvictories.com they sent me the CAI and a additional 4 3/4 inch rubber hose to account for difference in length from unsupercharged to supercharged. they said that was the only difference for the magnacharger CAI. I have had problemwith the hose comming off bc it was too short so they sent me a 5 inch rubber hose to correct the issue. The inside diameter of the plastic tube is 3 3/4 inchs at the throttle body and 3 1/2 inch at the filter hose connection. Is this the correct tubing part for the Maggie or did i get taken for a ride on this CAI that was passed off as Roto fab CAI for supercharger. I do know the CAI was shipped from Roto fab factory while he sent the rubber tubing bc he said he had that part instock but not the yellow color CAI.

Becca, I sent a pm to you regarding this, but I want to clarify for others as well. Many have used our standard elbow for the S/C application with good results. The tube we just introduced for this application is better for several reasons:

1) The new tube is specifically for this application, so alignment on both ends is much better which results in superior performance.

2) This tube maintains a larger cross-section through its length. (our stock tube tapers slightlly through its length-great for N/A cars) This is why our S/C tube comes with a new coupler from elbow to throttle body.

3) The breather tube connection is in a location better suited for the S/C belt routing.

4) The hump hoses on both ends work together to absorb motor rock which eliminates the issue of the hose slipping off of the clamping surface due to motor rock.

I'm glad this was brought to our attention. We will send out a newsletter to all of our dealers to inform them of this new option.
