Why a Camaro?

Just something to keep busy while everyone is at C5 Fest

Simple Question; Out of Every Car why pick the Camaro?

What Attracted you, ETC.

Well Honestly For me it was Transformers it was Amazing looked so BOLD then i was reading a local magazine and it said the price would be in the 23-26 for the V6 i know i wanted one so i asked my dad and ordered a 2LT SIM

So thank you Transformers

Eager to here what you guys are going to say about why you bought your camaro over every other car

Well i loved it the minute i saw it in Transformers, maybe not the yellow, but a blacked out 2LT. I just wish my dad was not a more Practical car (Honda - Garbage) kinda guy then it would be a lot easier to convince him that it's worth it.

I was just looking for a car that has it all. Looks, power and value. I'm suprised when I hear people throw away money on cars that all look the same. I've always loved muscle cars and though the 4th gens were great I wanted a brand new car that I could instantly tell apart from everything else and thankfully everything lined up perfectly for me to get my camaro. No other car has the total package like it. I even get excited for the younger guys that love their LS's and LT's because I know how amazing those are as well. And we can all feel good knowing we are helping an American car company get back the respect it deserves.

I didn't know a thing about them until about 6 months ago, I'm more of a MC guy.
The more I read the more I liked. Then, I did a comparison of all three of the Muscle Car Triumvirate; Mustang, Challenger and the Camaro. I ruled out the Mustang pretty early, then went back and forth between the Challenger SRT8 and the 2SS for almost 3 months. I really liked the retro looks of the Challenger and think Dodge is a good product (I have an 07 Ram 1500), but the additional $8K plus the $1300 GG tax didn't do much to sway me. THEN, I took the wife to see them; she thought the front end of the Challenger was fugly but really liked the ABL of the 2SS(?!). I've come to appreciate her taste and opinion (she married ME after all), so the Camaro (my 1st choice to begin with) found it's way in to my driveway (and heart). I have not been this enthused about a car since I was 16.

Pretty much the same reason growing up..unfortunately after getting older and not being able to put the time and effort of rebuilding a '69er and the fact when the 4th gens stopped production I waited as long as I could to get the 5th gen. Unfortunately it took GM longer than I had anticipated and bought a SUV for the time. At that point I finally got tired of my SUV that I never used it for, traded it in a few weeks ago and got the car of my dreams.

Greatest decision I ever made to date...

I'm getting one because I want to have a cool car to have for retirement I figure if I get it now and take super good care of her I'll have a awesome toy to play with when I get older . I've always been a Chevy (GM) fan but over the past few years I have not been very awed by what I've seen out of GM or Chrysler and Ford for that matter. I was and am super happy to see the big 3 all bring back pieces of history and I just picked the one I liked best out of the lot .

Im 29, been driving Dodge trucks since i could Drive. My last truck was a 05 Dodge Ram 1500 Singe cab 4x4 With 5.7 HEMI. Ive never even once thought about a car until i saw the Camaro's. Went by the dealer one day, and looked at the car i ened up getting a few weeks later. During that time, i couldnt get over how great the car looked, and the price of it, 24,585. Compared to my trucks, it was reallly nicly equipped. My trucks didnt have power anything, or keyless entry, fancy stuff like that. So even though my car is a LS, its a step up for me, and i love it!!!! My car is SIM, but i love the color, but if they would have had the same car, but in the yellow, i would have got that, i just love the Yellow camaro's. But im 100 percent happy with what i got.

My dad bought a 2SS in September and I fell in love with his. Looks inside and out were just slap your momma gorgeous. But I honestly never payed attention to the V6. When Ford announced the 305 hp 30 mpg 2011 Mustang I fell in love. My first car was a Mustang, so Mustang's are special to me. When I started to brainstorm about affording one my dad mentioned looking at the Camaro - didn't give it much thought. Figured they were too expensive and just out of my league. Built one, ran some numbers, and pulled the trigger.
