LS3 rough idle

I have noticed that since day one my LS3 has a rough idle. almost as if it has a lean miss. sometimes it's worse than other times. I know some guys say it's because of the big cam but i don't buy it. I know what a big cam sounds and feels like and this aint it. if it were an issue with cam duration it would have a slight rhythm which i dont have. anybody have any info on this problem? i cant believe a fuel injected car with this mild a cam doesnt idle smooth.

Your Camaro is broke then. Take it to the dealer. Keep us posted on what they say.

I test drove both. The LS3 idles rough, and the L99 does not. Some reasons are the cam is different, and a manual idles rougher because it doesn't have a toque converter to absorb the virbrations.

My LS3 has idled rough since I bought it. As a matter of fact, EVERY LS3 that I test drove idled rough. Good luck with getting it fixed! Doesn't affect driveability whatsoever.

My L99 has occasional roughness to the idle, like little spurts of rough then back to normal. It doesnt sound like anything is wrong, just can feel it a bit.
