First Post and Intro

Hi all, as a long time Corvette owner (2006 w/Z51) and member of the Corvette Forum (since 1999) I just ordered a garage mate:

Imperial Blue 2LT/RS with the white stripe and MXO. I was the first order at my local Cheby emporium and paid MSRP. To me this is a classic combination and the new 304HP V6 sounds like sweetheart.

I'm retired USAF SrNCO (22 years) now working as a civilian at Scott AFB in southern Illinois for the United States Transportation Command. I have a son stationed in Iraq (USAF Security Forces) I'll be ordering him a 2SS as soon he knows when he's due back and a daughter serving in the USAF Reserves here at Scott AFB. Guess the apple(s) really don't fall far from the tree.

I'm looking forward to making new friends and enjoying my new toy. I'm also a mod-alcoholic regarding late model Corvette's.

Cheers

New to the bunch also. As a member of the corvette forum since 2004, these guys here are pretty darn cool. Nice choice of colors as that will also be my choice next year minus the white stripe.
