Camaro v6 rs vs dodge charger hemi
who would win the charger hemi or the v6 camaro
I'm not talking about the srt8 I know what would happen |

V8 > v6
At the track I saw one running 14.1~14.2 every time. He may of broke into the 13s but not sure. |

what year charger? if its the older 5.7, that ones putting down, i believe 340hp. someone please correct me if i'm wrong on those specs from the old 5.7s. 09's got the VVT 5.7 with much better power delivery. with your weight advantage it may be close with that older hemi, but the torque from the V8 may make it hard.

Yeah, 340... Doing 0-60 in 6-6.1 V6 doing 5.9-6, so it will be driver race to 60. But in 1/4 torque should rule.

But what are the torque numbers? Considering the 5.7 Hemi puts down very good torque, I'd bet on the Charger.
Also, the Charger is available in AWD too. If it's an AWD one, you are aren't gonna beat him off the line. |

The numbers won't tell you the full story but it would be an interesting race stock for stock. My brother has an 06 Charger R/T with the R&T package (meaning it was given an extra 10 hp from factory), they are reasonably quick stock but really open up with just a few mods and have available the same types of Diablo Predator tuning that the V8 Camaro's have which is a significant increase for the cost. Like I said, stock I'd love to see it, may come down to driver, a few mods on the charger and it's no contest.
