FUN ! FUN ! FUN !
My LS3 is a blast to drive !
I initially was going to do a blower , but after reading on this forum the idea of an old school , cammed , 60's type of modded car intrigued me . I ended up going with this . Mild Texas Speed Comp cam 225/230 , springs , retainers , pushrods , roller rocker kits SLP full CAI Dynatech 1 7/8 SS headers , HF cats , OEM exhaust LG short shifter Spec 2 clutch Richmond gear 4.10's Tune This car is running great , has power everywhere and sounds awesome under the hood and out the back . I'm going to dyno it again soon and post the #s . I did have the slave cyl fail last weekend and still don't know why . We replaced it and all seems well for now . Tuning was also an issue with the E38 computer but with some help from Ed @ Virginia Speed and my tuner learning this new computer we got it . The best part of driving the car is the power you have all over the board thanks to the gearing . I'm running it up to 7300 revs but realistically the engine is probably done by 6500 . If any of you are considering similar mods go for it , you won't regret it . The cost was reasonable and the result , FUN! FUN ! FUN !

Nicely done sir!
People are underestimating the gear swap....that's gotta be one of the best ways to get this sled moving! Thanks for sharing your fun with us! Ivan

Finally correctly tuned , nice choppy idle but runs like stock .
The car is insane , I think a bigger cam is in order though .

That sounds like a good list. How about some more pictures/description of that 68 you have? That looks awesome.
