Invoice Pricing???
Hi all;
Looking to buy an SS soon. Contacted a local dealer and they say the invoice pricing I have (dealer invoice price posted here) is not correct . Of course their "invoice pricing is 1,000 to 1,500 more. What gives? I'm showing invoice on a 1SS with RS package should be 29,577 plus 850 delivery. What am I missing. Thanks in advance and the new Camaro is a great car. This is coming from a lifelong Mopar guy :-)

Build it on TrueCar.com with your zip code entered. They are usually correct I think.

Walk in and ask to see the dealer invoice for yourself. The invoice doesn't lie. |

I think invoice price varies by location- in my area the invoice price on a 1ss with nothing is 29707. That came from my bank... who uses NADA. They finance 100% of invoice so Im guessing they would use a reliable source to come up with those figures... but keep in mind dealers usually pay less than invoice and WILL lie. I had a dealer tell me the invoice price was 32000 dollars...

The base invoice on a 1SS is $29,707 plus $850 destination fee ($30,557). With just the RS package the total invoice pricing is $31,613 ($30,763 + $850 destination). Go to http://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/camaro/2011/index.html and build your car. Their invoice pricing is 100% correct HOWEVER it does not include advertising fees your dealer has to add on. |

Thx for the help
Thanks all.
True shows invoice on a 1SS w Rs pck at $32,095, including 850 destination and 482 of redional adv. The quote I got from a local dealer was $31,721 - USAA cash back of 750 = 30,971 inc dest. and ad fees (all but TT&L). Sounds like this may be a good, below invoice price for this area. He will do similar pricing on ordering a 2011 (No USAA cash back though), so I'm thinking I may just order a 2011. Why buy a 1 model year old car at this point when you can get a 2011 for pretty much the same price? Any thoughts? |
