Trunk Liner clip removal
Installing a spoiler, trying to get the clips off so I can remove the liner to get to two of the bolt holes. These things are a bitch! Anybody have some tips? I feel like I could yank them out if I pulled hard enough w/ a pair of needlenose, but I don't know if that will break them.

When I tightened my spoiler bolts I just pulled the clips out by hand. It was kinda hard but it worked. Mine didn't break but I was a little worried that they might though.

Small screwdriver to lift up from the tabs. Then you can use a needlenose pliers, just do it gently. it's ok if the center portion comes out, as they can just be pushed back in...
They sell tools for this that might be handy to have. I have a plastic set that great...

either go to local auto parts store and buy the tool, or use a fork. Bend the two middle pieces of the fork outward and make a V, use that to get under the clips and pry them out. It works!

This may not have been wise but I actually ended up using a pry bar! I made a little room with a flathead and then carefully worked the pry bar behind it. It barely takes any pressure and since you have the nice, thick trunkliner there was little risk of damaging anything.

A small claw hammer (such as one in a kids toy tool set) works great imo.
