LS Forum
Post to this thread if you own a 2010-2012 LS with the basic package. Mine has no options other than what came from the factory with the basic LS pkg.
I am curious as to what aftermarket upgrades others are adding. Last edited by 40again; 08-30-2011 at 09:39 PM. |

My LS came with floor mats, spare tire, and A6 trans. I've added another 4k in mods on top of the 24k I paid for it new. You can View My Garage to see the list of mods so far.

I have a LS!! Mine came the same way except for mats. I'm adding the RS wheels powdercoated in matte black, ACC Halos and leather steering wheel.
Future Mods: CAI Burton short shifter Tint I've ran out of money hence the future mods. |

I am curious about the ACC Halos....is the install easy and do they cause any issues with the stock lenses due to heat? Where did you get them and how much? Pix?

I also have the LS. I haven't done any performance upgrades yet, (all cosmetic so far) but am beginning to consider a CAI and possibly other bolt on upgrades for the future. As laryt1026 said, not alot of extra money here. For a complete list of all my mods and where I got them, check out my vehicle profile in my garage.

I have an LS, and love it, it came with mats aswell. The mods ive had done so far are, #1 where fog lights, then rally stripes, window tint, KN Typhoon intake, and Flowmaster axleback exhaust. Couldnt be happier with the car.

I just got my LS about a week ago. It didn't come with floor mats, but I finally found a set at an auto parts store that I felt were suitable for the car. They were black carpeted ones with the Chevrolet Logo stitched into them. Everything else I'd seen up until then just didn't meet up to my standards. I also bought some seat covers for the driver and passenger seats to give them some extra protection from sun fading and wear & tear. Took a few trips out to find a set that I found suitable. The ones I ended up buying were black with a dark grey patterned stripe down the center that looked good with my interior. Again, everything else I'd seen seemed sub par and too flashy up until that point. The last thing I bought was a set of sun shades for the windshield for added sun fade and dash wear protection when I am parked.
Now that I have the basics out of the way, I am looking into getting some fog lamps to install in the ports on the bumper. After that, I guess I'll do some research on what I CAN add at this point that won't void the Warranty, and look into that. |

I ALWAYS buy base and use the extra money saved over the factory addon's to customize my ride exactly the way I want it... Just about everything can be added via aftermarket, for less cash, and you can get it exactly as you want and not how the factory added it..
