Z/28 diff swap questions

I canít find anywhere that definitively says weather or not the SS axels will swap right in and how did you guys plug the oil cooler lines?

SS axles will work with the Z/28 diff. I’m using the cooler, so not sure about plugging it.

Easiest way is to buy the GM differential cooler kit (23216684), which includes all of the lines and instructions. Thatís what I did, but I also know some guys bought the parts piecemeal to save money - there is probably a thread here somewhere with the details.

These are suppose to be the part numbers for ZL 1 diff cooler plugs. They might be the same for the Z28 diff.

i dont have the complete cooler. I just bought the diff from Wacko37 yesterday. Do i need to plug up the cooler fittings on the diff cover if im not running a cooler initially?
