Does anyone have any insight on replacing the top seal above the rear quarter window? Mine has a tear in it, but it looks like the side tensioner cable runs through it? Any help would be appreciated.

Nobody? Have the service manual, but running the tension cable through the seal as shown results in it being pulled out of it's channel. Stumped.
