I don’t know why everyone gets so hung up on Dyno numbers. They are all over the place numbers wise and all kinds of things effect the number. They are simply a tool. Never even had our car on a dyno. No real need if you can tune at the track.
That being said the SS4 is an amazing cam. I have one of the old versions of it in my wife’s car and it’s been 10.7@128. Also understand you’re NOT going to get a full weight 5th Gen cam only car into the 10’s. 10’s are not a walk in the park. You’ll need more power, or a lot less weight. Took me many trips to the track to get my wife’s car to where it is now. Making more changes and going for 9’s next season. |

I too have a 1LE and bought the SS4 NFC cam kit so I'm looking forward to seeing your results so I can have an idea of what to expect when I get mine installed |

It’s in.
I stuck it in her Saturday night. No tune and I mucked up the threads to the 2nd spark plug on the driver side. But she still fired up and I don’t think the drivetrain sounded bad at all. The LTs thru the NPP is nasty and the cam untuned sound beastly. Can’t wait to get to GPI and get my Rod mod intake and tuned

NICE !!!! Sounds about right !! When tuned it’s not gonna sound much different than that .. it’s gotta shit ton of overlap! Gets nasty when it’s hot !
