3.73 vs 3.91 gear install cost?
Is it more expensive to install 3.73 gears vs 3.91 gears on an Auto? Reason I'm asking is because I see you can by the GM Performance 1LE "Gear Kit" for a descent price vs just gears

installing gears should be the same price regardless of what size they are. gear ratios is just the numbers of teeth on the ring and pinion so that doesn't effect the install process. I just put 4.10 gears in my car. did all the work myself so that saved money

The GM kit will come with a certificate to calibrate the speedometer at a GM dealer. Might save you a few bucks that way.
