So anyone feel that Ford and FCA will be striked against, or not? I mean, won't they have to conform to similar concessions?

I guess maybe the difference is GM having factories shut down, while we haven't seen that with the others.

Back to the strike real quick...Never really heard if it caused a major drop in GM sales for instance?....How many days supplies of inventory were used, or is it all gone? Was this a major blow to the Corvette production? Are there going to be huge increases in MSRPs?....Did GM profits take a huge hit?...Or in the long run will the strike have been a non-issue? Just curious. Thanks….(I'll settle for the short answer versions, its just that I never heard anything about these questions one way or another)….Thanks again.

According to GM, the strike costed them 2.9 billion, with a B. Q3 earnings report out.

Probably won't hear about sales impact until the new year, thanks to quarterly reporting.

Corvette production is slightly delayed, first saleable units should be delivered in January now instead of December. GM ramped up production before the strike occurred so inventory should be at a good level now, or will be within a few weeks. Profit took a hit but we'll probably see ripple effects into Q4.
