Insurance for Camaro in UK

Still planning on importing my Camaro to UK in early 2020 but looking to do some performance modifications before I ship.

Thinking of staying N/A and going with cam swap, 3.91 gears install

OR

LSA supercharger install.

What effect would installing a supercharger have on insurance rates in the UK for the Camaro? What about in comparison to staying N/A with the cam and 3.91 gears?

Who are the same of the best providers forum members could recommended I get quotes from?

I have Geico here in the US but they don't cover internationally.

Thanks for the help gents, can't wait to be a part of the UK Camaro community!

I had to take our a separate policy to my multi car insurance after fitting a Magnuson blower. I use Adrian Flux, just renewed at £475 for the Camaro. Clean licence and full no claims. Can't remember precisely but added around 33% to the cost before the mod.

Many mainstream UK insurers will not cover imports, but there are many specialists who will,

I use Brentacre, they will accept and cover all modifications

Yup, same as Rick, I fitted a blower kit ( along with a host of other engine mods) Swapped to Brentacre at John's suggestion as my then insurer (Admiral) wouldn't cover modifications. Premium went up no more than 15% so I was well pleased. Regarding N/A cam etc-v- Supercharger; go blown, loads more fun. On tap big grunt. Laugh my balls off everytime I floor mine.

I'm with Flux - they came in substantially cheaper than the oppo (to be fair I'm only slightly modded - no s/c for me)
