Just bought my first Camaro and loving it!
Hello, just wanted to introduce myself, I have been a long time lurker to the site and this sub forum in particular because i have been wanting to get a ZL1 1LE for quite a while.
Finally my dream cam true this past Tuesday as me and a buddy of mine drove to Oklahoma from Houston TX, around a 7 hour journey where i was able to pick up this 2019 Satin Steel 6spd for what i believe to be a pretty good deal. I found the car at a Nissan dealership where it was traded in for a titan pickup by the original owner, the car only has 2600 miles on it so its still just like brand new for the most part and i was able to get it for a price of $55950. The drive home was a fun one and i just can't get enough of this car, its an amazing machine! I came from a 2017 mustang GT that i sold back in Feb and have just been biding my time ever since waiting for a deal to pop up. With the stang i had twin turboed it along with a slew of other modifications and it was a really fast and a fun car also but got to the point where you could only drive on drag radials in order to get traction and make highway pulls. I'm all about the more overall balanced type of car and that why the ZLE checks all the boxes for me, plus with all the added tech its a true winner. I've already ordered a few aesthetic mods like led reflectors and the carbon dash piece to install for now. Planning on doing light bolt ons and changing the tires soon to something a little better suited for the cooler and rainy days ahead in the next few months. Anyways here are a few pictures, Thanks ! |

Sweet car and colour. Yes they are definitely a lot of fun.
For tires I went with the Michelin PS4S and find them to be really good in the rain. There’s lots to read on here regarding the tires so you can decide. Does the car have the PDR? Congratulations on the purchase. |

Congrats, I just got myself a 19 ZL1-1LE in Hot Red and it had like 93 miles on it, I do plan on getting the ZL1 Addons rock guards and of course new tires.

Since you come from a Mustang, I'm just curious if the GT350 was on your radar and what steered you one direction or another. Congrats btw!

Congrats and nice choice on the color. If you love it now what till you get some mods on it. The LT4 platform really responds to mods.

Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ is available in 285/30 and 325/30.
They are all season, 2 year newer technology than PS4’s. I would encourage you to take a look. Not sure how bad your cold/rainy season is, or what your summer tire strategy is going to be. But if you’re considering a 2 set strategy for the year, AS3+ is a good off-season tire (and available). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
