Knocking in suspension

Last weekend, me and a buddy installed 1" brand new BMR lowering springs on the car. Before we started, there weren't any pronounced noises, but now if I go over a bump that's a little harsher (not a pothole), I'll hear a thudding coming from the back.

I went back over the work and made sure to triple check everything and make sure everything's cranked down, but I'm at a loss for where this noise could be coming from. We even used a shock compressor to make sure the shock hats were fully seated. The only thing I can think of is that the bushings weren't re-indexed because we were working on jackstands, and I blew a bushing out from driving the car too much without doing this. I also didn't see any bump stops in the suspension, not sure if that's a mag ride thing or not. Running the factory mag ride, about 15k on these shocks and about 50k on the car, nothing else was changed.

When you lower the car you have to loosen the suspension bolts and retighten them with a load on the wheels/car.

Let’s see the stance when u get a chance. I’m still in limbo on wether to do the 1in drop springs. I’m leaning towards doing them. Let me know what u think minus the problem your having now

Ditto. And remember that lower arm bolt has a torque to yield spec.
