Nope. ‘96 Formula/Trans Am WS6 (and Camaro SS) had 305 HP. I had a ‘97 Formula WS6 new back then, and still have my original car brochure.

Those engines, especially the WS6 Ram Air, were underrated. With the ram air it was more like 340 hp.
