Love my RXT, but I make quite a bit more power. It will take a little bit of getting used to the slip as the dual clutch engages, but break it in properly and it will hold forever.

Where in the clutch engagement does it grab?

I just went Carolina Clutch twin carbon billet. Little pricey, but it'll be worth it.

I changed out my McLeod twin disk for a mantic twin disk. It solved all my issues that I was having with the McLeod which I used for about 20k miles and was never happy with.

I have about 700 miles on the mantic with 3 hard launches after break in. Real happy with it and it drives much closer to stock than the mcleod.

Which McLeod twin disk did you have, and what were your problems?

I have the RXT1200 and have been really happy with it. I also know 2 other guys locally who run it with no complaints. The pedal feel is near stock. I guess you could say the engagement is a little grabby, but isnt that what we want?

The only negative I've found is there is a little noise when trans is in neutral and the clutch pedal is not engaged. Push the pedal, little noise goes away. Maybe its the TOB.

I had a rxt professionally installed and there was a noise/vibration between 1350 and 1700 rpms. They pulled it back out and it went away. Put it back in and it came back. McLeod said it was in the transmission. I had gm check the transmission and they did not find an issue.

I drove it like that for a couple years and then had the transmission rebuilt by a tremec services center. Problem still there. This year I changed out to the mantic twin disk and noise gone. No more avoiding the rpm range.

My McLeod issues, vibration-poor shifting especially above 3k rpms-ratchety engagement making clutch slippage hard to be consistent and excess driveline lash.

Mantic clutch improved all off the above issues and car now drives like when it was stock.

I put about 20k miles on the McLeod. My only positive with the McLeod was it hooked and never slipped.

This is my experience and others will have different experience as is the case in most products, but it's food for thought. There is some info when researching McLeod vibration issues.

I'm in your boat now. A buddy of mine pointed me over to Katech. Factory with an 800rwhp rating.

I ended up going with the Monster LT1.. Thats what I have in my track Corvette and the pedal is almost like stock...hoping for the same results with the Camaro. But I'm milking this Ram Force 10.5 till the last drop lol
