Finished Ikon Diffuser Install
Well 10 hours later and I’m finished. I have new tips coming to fill the gap.

Looks aggressive. Did you have to paint it?

So tell us some feedback about whether this is a good diffuser to buy or not. I've heard mixed reviews on installing issues because the product is not well made.

Yeah, I had to paint it unfortunately. It does not have the texture or color of the factory diffuser and I just ordered the ZL1 rockers. So I primed it and used Dupli-color bumper black paint.

I purchased it on Amazon for 264 shipped. It was definitely a challenge to make it work. You will need to paint it and you’ll also have to remove your bumper. On the back side of the diffuser there are tabs that will fit into the bumper. Unfortunately the tabs don’t have anyway to clip into the bumper like the factory diffuser. So I purchased some u-clips and used the screws found in the fender well to secure it. It had two very large gaps on the left and right. I used my ghetto setup to force the diffuser into the bumper and secured it with JB weld.
It doesn’t go with the factory look but I have the ZL1 rockers coming in and a aftermarket spoiler. So once I get those on with the wheels it will look a lot better. Overall, I would buy it again. I don’t mind messing with things and I have all the time in the world due to Covid. My rockers come in today. They came off a totaled ZL1. So I’ll be spending the weekend fixing those.
