any difference between the l92 and ls3 block

the blocks are the same. the full engines are slightly different. the L92 has VVT. but the blocks are the same

thanks. what about l92 and ls3 heads. Tey are the same castings too right.

yup. the LS3 uses L92/L76 heads

I think there have been improvements to the LS3/L99 blocks that the L92 didn't benefit from.

As far as I know l92 and ls3 use the same engines' block but different heads , if they all the same then what the real different between the ls3 and l92 ? the name !!

the LS3 uses L92 heads, the pistons are different, the LS3 has the sodium filled valves and of course the intake manifolds, cam and exhaust are different.
