BTR Shaft Mount Rockers
Has anyone used the BTR shaft mount rocker kit?
1. Did it change push rod length 2. Do they fit under the OEM valve covers 3. An has anyone used the TSP roller tip rockers on them?

I did not, but it looks very promising. It think I saw someone on ls1tech that did.

I just did. Check out this thread on LS1tech for more info. I didn’t start the thread but I commented later.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...225-heads.html To answer your questions: 1) It theoretically shouldn’t change pushrod length. In my specific case, I swapped cams from a BTR4 to G6X3 and added Johnson link bar lifters, valve job, etc, so the change in PR length for me isn’t going to be indicative for a basic cam swap. 2) Yes, without issue. 3) I just used OE rockers. Unfortunately I don’t have any feedback yet on how they are with a running engine Hopefully I’ll have this stupid car back together in the next week, though and I’ll comment back.

Hey, if you don't mind me asking - which brand bronze bushing were you using that caused the failure?

I know we don’t hear much about the bronze bushings failing, but in my case it was 50k very hard miles supporting an aggressive cam street racing, drag racing, and road racing. I feel burden to some responsibility waiting so long to change them out. As Tiger King once said, “I am never going to financially recover from this.”

[QUOTE=InFiD3ViL;11144999]Very curious how those Johnson Link Bars work for you, as those are exactly what I am looking at when I get into the engine again. I am looking forward to ditching the lifter trays.
I don't have Johnson's lint bars I have Morel link bars both very good companies, my motor goes 6800 to 7200 rpm depending on track conditions never any problems I have about 5000 miles on it. only reason I went with Morel's is I have a Cam Motion solid roller cam Johnson didn't offer them. Building a new motor it's going to be a twin turbo 427 that will turn 7500 to 8000, going to definitely run link bars again.

If they are aluminum roller tip rockers, chances are really good you will need tall valve covers, I did.
