any body have torque specs for the LS3 head???

puttin the heads back on and need to find the head torque specs..

anybody able to help out?

Stock head bolts are Torque to Yeild and only good for one use. They are throw away parts.

If you use the ARP bolts or studs you need to follow their specifications. They will vary with whatever lube you use and the material of the part.

Yes I am quite aware of that..
I have GM replacement bolts.. not reusing the old bolts..
need to see if anything has changed... the last time I did this was on an LS1

Is the torque sequence for a LS1 head the same for a LS3 head???
starting from the center and working out???

it gives you the basics.. pretty much the same. you just have to double check the torque specs..

If you use ARP bolts and lube it's 70 for the large and 23 for the small.

Do yourself a favor, get a set of ARP's.
