Suggested sale price? 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS
Hello all. The day has come that I never thought would be here. I am considering selling my 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS. I need advice on a good asking price...
Vehicle is pretty heavily modded. Here are the bullet points: -Im the only owner. Car had 8 miles when bought. Has 90,000 now -Have all purchasing paperwork. Clear & paid off title. -Never wrecked. Very little cosmetic damage (few scratches and rock dings) Main Mods: (all installed be myself) -Tick performance 3-bolt Cam, Morel lifters, chrome moly pushrods, ported oil pump, LS9 head gaskets, port & polished heads and 2 angle valve/seat job on heads. Dyno'd at 498 RWHP w/ dyno sheet -15" conversion. Mickey Thompson skinnies/slicks on Forgestar wheels. Rears are beadlocks. -BBK headers & midpipes attached to straight thru exhaust. Has electric cutout at midpipes as well. -ZL1 differential w/ 3.73 gears & Hendrick engineering offset bushings. ZL1 axles & ZL1 2 peice driveshaft. H&R wheel spacers (for 15" to clear Carlyle Racing brakes) Smaller mods: -Short shifter -Orange Halo headlights -Jannetty air scoop (wiper fluid delete) -Harwood 5" hood (flat black) -ZL1 spoiler (flat black) -Front drilled/slotted brake disc's -BMR lowering springs (1.4") I'm sure I'm missing a few tiny weekend project mods. I was thinking asking $25,000 would be reasonable. Thoughts? And if this is in the incorrect spot please let me know. Thanks everyone.

I am no expert and all I can offer is my personal perspective of what it would be worth to me.
I have been in the market for a couple of months for an ss and whats contradicting is that I want my camaro to be modded but I dont want it to come modded. Maybe its a bit like I want my wife to be touched not come touched? Not quite sure why it is this way lol Anyhow, with my limited mechanical knowledge it just seems like a risk for me to buy a car that someone else has already modded so I would be hardpressed to pay more for a modded car then a stock car. The prices around me puts a camaro ss with almost 100k miles at around 20k, but thats also before dreaded dealer fees. Thats really the limit of what I can offer as a buyers perspective. I just bought a 2011 ss vert for 29k through carvana with 32k miles. |
