Jammer CAI vs KN Drop In
Looking for a CARB intake solution. I'm looking at the Jammer CAI and the KN drop in filter kit thingy and they both cost the same but are obviously different. I just wanted to ask to see if anyone knew which one is better

Well the first one I have never even heard of, so no on that one. Also the filter is a dry filter and is more of a pain to clean, if you even can. The K&N one is a WET filter, which means it is sprayed with a light oil to help catch all the dust and dirt, and can be easily cleaned and re oiled with the K&N filter recharge cleaner and oil kit, and it will virtually last for ever. I have a K&N Typhoon CAI setup on my Camaro and love it! If I was going to do either one of these, it would be the K&N as they do have great "drop in" filters. Good luck with your choice.

I have a K&N drop in for my 2013 LS V6 and I did notice a few MPG increase and smoother idle with the drop in VS the stock paper filter. I've had it in for over 130,000 miles, cleaned it a few times and it's still like new. With it being a 'wet' filter, make sure to clean your MAF sensor every oil change or so, I clean mine every 10k just for insurance and DON'T over oil the filter after cleaning.

I have the Jammer CAI and have had no problems with it. Never heard of the brand when I bought it, but it was the only CARB legal one. Have had no problems with it, and it’s a true CAI so should add more power than just a filter change for sure.
