How To Get Numbers From GM?
Hey there people.
I've not been on here for a while; it's good to be back. The end point of this is, I want to find out exactly how many 2013 1LE's were built exactly like mine. I purchased my 1LE new with 13 miles on it, June 2013. As I've been looking around for build numbers, it seems there was a VERY low number of cars optioned exactly like mine. Possibly only mine. Mine is a 2SS, Black on Black with the ground effects kit that was installed before the dealership got it. Thank God. Every single option was put on this car EXCEPT, Dual Mode Exhaust. It seems to me that was probably the most popular option purchase at the time. Having everything but that makes it a bit of an odd bird. The history I've been able to dig up shows most, if not all of the 2013 1LE's with ground effects on them were sent "...down the street" from the assembly plant for the ground effects to be installed before shipment to the dealerships. I'm sure some of you in here may have different information, but that's what I dug up on my car specifically. I've tried a couple calls to GM regarding the numbers but always end up with nothing useful. Any of you have suggestions or have had actual success? Thanks, Karl

Only thing I've found with number break downs is this here, which I'm sure you've seen before.

Correct. I've seen that.
What I'm really looking for is some way to get an official number from GM.

This has been brought up before. Consensus is they don't have records analyzed to that degree. The link that was posted was done by Scott Settlemire more or less on his own just for our benefit and it took him a lot of time and effort just to go to that degree. It just doesn't gain anything for GM to pay someone to analyze and compile all this data.
