I would like to do Rt 66 in my 69 Camaro, but my wife insisted she would only go cross country in a car with a warranty, thus the 2019 Camaro. |

For the summer of 2022, I also bought a motorcycle. And why not? You have to make your life pleasant.

I saw a Car & Driver years ago which did a sports car comparison. They went up hwy. 1 and back down through the mountains. I always wanted to do that drive.

Just finished RT66 trip
Just finished my complete RT66 trip. We traveled the historic RT66 and avoided the interstate as much as possible. Some places we had to hit the interstate due to bridges being out, etc. AWESOME. A must for any car guy.
We did the return trip by going thru Utah and the Colorado Rockies. We visited the historic places and ate at the local diners as much as possible. The only downside if you plan your trip is that many local places do not open until 10 am and close around 4 pm. In short, America at its finest. I especially avoided the news so as not to have any negativity during the trip. |
