Question
My neighbor has a 2016 Camaro and he showed me on his OBD2 that all Catalytic Converters temperatures were within 5/10 degree's of each other and he's still getting a P0420...
I didn't know what to say' except take it to the dealership... What could be causing that P0420 to trip? |

Not sure where Cat temps are coming from, does the Gen 6 have and actual temp sensor on the cat?
I don't know that cat temps mean anything anyway. The computer thinks the efficiency is off on one of the cats and that has a very long list of possible causes, including exhaust/vacuum leaks, o2 sensor issues and possibly a bad cat. |

Cat temps are calculated on the 5th gen and I imagine on the 6th as well.
I got P0420 after installing Mace cams and I think it was due to the engine running way rich (~20%) - after getting the fueling dialed in the code disappeared. https://www.obd-codes.com/p0420 Was any work done on the car recently?
