Cool pic! But man, I was born in Washington, raised on the Oregon coast and now live in sunny Southern Nevada. I don't miss that gray sky at all!

For me it's a blessing and a curse, the moment the sun touches my skin I burst into flames so I don't mind the clouds, although the rain can get old especially when I have something I need to do outside, I do envy the desert climates sometimes though, being able to run R compoind all year long and not have to worry about waterproofing the car as much.

That sucks! My granddaughter loves spending time outdoors - she's on her dirt bike every chance she gets, but she suffers from a weird affliction - allergic to direct sunlight. She breaks out in hives anytime she is exposed for more than an hour or so so she tends to stay almost completely covered which doesn't lend well to desert climates. Me, I'm in shorts and a t-shirt and sandals probably 9 months out of the year and only put long pants on in the winter for going to work in.

Agree about not having to be so water-conscious when it comes to our cars here. I like that. I can't tell you how many cars I had that leaked in all those years I lived in Oregon. However here, we have to watch for the other elemental demon - UV. I'm very thankful that I can keep both of my Camaros in my garage. My daily has to suffer during the day but the CE vert almost only comes out in the morning on Saturdays for a breakfast run or a quick trip over to the damn.
