Wiring help

I'm trying to rebuild this 2011 Camaro SS L99 (convertible) I bought as a roller. I'm trying to connect the wire that connects the bcm to the shifter. But it doesn't not reach. Am I doing something wrong? Is this the wrong shifter or the wrong wire?

since I have not seen a stick car with the console removed, don't know if the tunnel is the same for both cars...but I am assuming the roller was an auto car to begin with. can't help with the plug, sorry. haven't had my console off yet and hope I don't. have you checked youtube for anyone doing anything to an auto car while removing the console to see if any of the pics or video show any wiring? doesn't really matter what they are doing to the car, just look for the pics showing the wiring when the console is gone.

You wil save yourself a lot of time and headache if you will either subscribe to alldata or buy a service manual. It will have connector end views with wire colors to tell you what they are in addition to wiring diagrams. Spend the money.

I could be completely wrong as I am going off memory, but isn't the one you are trying to use, for the console plate / 4pack.

It would make sense that the one routed on the passenger side of the tunnel is for the shifter.

Apologies if I am indeed wrong.

+1 Alldata is amazing for the price. I will take a look when I get a minute.

and it you work at it, you can screen shot all of the wiring diagrams and probably the connector views with just the cheapest shortest subscription.
