Top up Door closing question
I never, well, VERY rarely have the top up. Today I did, and I noticed it takes a considerable amount of force to close the door. Anyone care to weigh in on this with their vert? If I lightly close it, it latches but doesnt close. Not quite a SLAM to close it, but its pretty robust!

No real difference in mine open or closed-if you rarely keep the top up I would imagine the window molding sets without any pressure from the window. It would make sense that it would take more effort to close the door with the top up.

Assuming your windows are working properly (dropping when opening), have you investigated that the vented are working properly and not blocked? If the don't exhaust while closing the door, it will be more difficult to shut the door.

On my coupe, they are on both sides right behind the rear wheels.

Yes, you do.
TBH that is a long shot that they are blocked. I really don't have any other ideas if the windows are dropping and there is no misalignment.

I think that its just the door seals are still "like new" as the top is never up so the window seals arent very compressed. the top has stayed down the past few winters as well, as its in my garage heated and covered. It only had 28K miles on it when I bought it, so it wasnt used much.
