Just have to ask, why would you even want to put a METAL cover over the positive terminal on a battery?? Doesn't make any sense. I just sanded mine, primered it anf paint and cleared it!! Safety..

This is for under the hood. Not the actual battery in the rear trunk from the pictures. I'm curious, show me what you did compared to what they are selling.

Yeah I know it is for under the hood, was just wondering about the "negative" affects of covering a metal jump terminal with a metal cover, whereas plastic protects from any possible power drain, or other issue. These are all I have for the moment.

Thanks. No sir, it is still where it was stock. You might have to expand the pics to see it, it has the silver "+" mark on it, right beside the strut tower and strut brace end.. It does blend in well with the under hood painted items! lol.

When I take the cover off the Camaro again, hopefully this weekend, I'll get a couple closeup pics of it. Was a really easy job to paint. Not knocking what RPI has, but I would never put an aluminum cover on my positive battery terminal! Just sayin. I do know this...
