DSS drive shaft questions
Guys,
I just made some changes to the rear of my 15 SS 1LE which included Hendrix diff offset bushings and a DSS driveshaft with a Matco drive shaft loop. The car already had BMR 1.25 springs on it when I bought it. When I start the car in the shop everything seems fine but as soon as you get on the road the driveshaft is rubbing on something. The first time I tried to test drive the car I found one of the emergency brake cables had came out of its holder and cold tell that it had rubbed. But I put it back in and tried to test drive and now it’s hitting something else. Anybody have the same issue or idea what it may be hitting. Thanks |

You should be able to see rub marks on the driveshaft.

Some of us had to remove the front heat shield, or modify it to clear the shaft..

Thanks guys, it’s the e brake cables. I had to take the back heat shield as well because it was hitting it as well. I was hoping taking that off would provide more clearance which it did. Just need to get these things tied back and I should be good to go
