2014 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE (NEED MECHANIC HELP)
Hello everyone!
I have a 2014 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE 120k Miles on it. One owner. I put aftermarket cam, long tube headers, clutch, and tune. All done in 2019. In June 2023 I drove the car about 5 miles and it stalled on me and said “service stabilitrak” “engine power reduced” and P0601 code appeared when scanned. The car will now turn on and idle for 3 min and shut off. I had replaced the ECM and reprogrammed and same issue ( I think the programmer cloned it). Then I had someone reprogram it with new Chevy software and same issue. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Can someone help? I really need to get my car running before April. If you need pics or vids please let me know. I live in Las Vegas so even if you know of a programmer or mechanic that can help here I would really appreciate it! I would take a close look at your wiring for the ECM

You said you put a new ECM and reprogrammed by two different people so wiring or connector would be the next thing I would check.

Service manual first step is pretty much testing voltage and ground inputs to the ECM for short, open or high resistance.

Some control modules have specific codes that describe internal failures of the module. These control modules have the ability to "TEST" themselves for internal faults, This DTC(P0601 Control Module ROM Performance) is not module specific, Be sure to check and understand which module has set this code, The P0601 was likely not set in the ECM, That's why you still have the issue.
